1st AND 2nd SHIFT, various start times

Hourly Rate:

$17.50/hr - $20.50/hr

Experience Required:

Selected candidates must have REACH TRUCK and / or

EPJ OPERATOR EXPERIENCE

Job Purpose:

Operate forklifts safely and efficiently. Handle all inbound and outbound freight properly and orderly. Maintain warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping. Responsible for loading, unloading trucks, trailers, and outside carriers safely. Ensure all shipments are correctly staged, checked, and loaded properly. Properly store stock in the warehouse. Provide material handling services for warehouse shipping and receiving activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the Warehouse Manager to ensure efficient warehouse operation. Operate REACH TRUCK and / or EPJ Use computers and handheld RF equipment. Load and unload trucks/trailers safely using proper procedures. Work flexible 10 to 12-hour shifts and not afraid of heights. Pick and move stock weighing 1 lb. to 50 lbs. multiple times. Process outbound cross-dock freight. Store stock properly and maintain organized stacking. Verify shipment accuracy against paperwork for all deliveries. Follow all OSHA regulations, safety policies, and procedures, including seatbelt use. Complete daily forklift maintenance inspections. Handle customer products properly and orderly. Report accidents or damage to the Shift Supervisor immediately. Maintain access to dock doors.

Additional Responsibilities:

Possess a sense of urgency, accountability, and work with limited supervision. Exhibit good communication, problem resolution, and people skills. Be flexible with overtime and shift coverage. Utilize PC skills. Build pallets and break down stock for orders. Work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse.

Education and Experience Required:

High School Diploma or GED. Warehousing certifications are a plus.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret general business documents. Write reports and correspondence effectively. Present information clearly to managers, clients, and customers.

Computer Skills:

Knowledge of Business Operating Systems, Internet, Word Processing, and Spreadsheet software.

Physical Demands:

Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Work comfortably in an indoor environment with physical activity requirements. Work under stressful situations with cognitive skills for multitasking.
