Description:
Chadwick's Surfaces International is seeking a reliable and motivated General Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of warehouse functions including receiving and processing incoming shipments, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping products, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This position plays a key role in supporting daily operations and contributing to overall company success. Work Environment Full-Time 8:00am-4:30pm, this position operates in a warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures, there is radiant heat in the main areas of the warehouse. You will need to operate machinery and moving equipment. Safety awareness and adherence to company procedures are essential. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments by unloading delivery trucks and verifying materials for accuracy, quantity, and quality Accurately pick orders from warehouse inventory by reading and interpreting pick tickets Update inventory control records with correct quantities and dates as needed Prepare customer orders and product samples for shipment Conduct physical inventory counts as directed Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse, equipment, and surrounding grounds Assist team members in locating and pulling stock Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment Operate hand and power tools as needed Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment Cross-train across all warehouse roles Various warehouse duties
Requirements:
Regular use of hands for handling materials and operating equipment Clear verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively speak and actively listen Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and crouching Occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly, and more than 50 lbs occasionally Strong visual abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks Basic math skills required Education and Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Forklift certification preferred (training and certification available if needed)
