GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
Moving and placing of material, packaging and other production items to ensure other personnel can stay on task throughout the production cycle.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Load and unload trucks Safely operate forklift truck (after trained and certified) Pick, pull, and place product in storage Ensure production work stations have material, packaging, and other items as tasked Move product from work stations to next process step Keep warehouse and wire room of stored product, material, and packaging are organized and accessible. Adhere to Company policies as described in employee handbook. Follow all procedures as they pertain to this position. Follow all quality standards and procedures. Maintain a safe and orderly work environment. Other tasks as assigned. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or Associates of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
