Role:

This is a

PART-TIME

position that typically works 10am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. The General Laborer plays a crucial role in supporting dismantling and production process in the yard. This position is essential for ensuring that work sites are safe, organized, and efficient, contributing to the overall success of the project. General Laborers will be responsible for assisting skilled dismantlers and ensuring that materials and tools are readily available. The role requires a strong work ethic and the ability to follow instructions accurately to meet deadlines. Ultimately, the General Laborer helps to create a productive work environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather (outside environment). Basic understanding of safety practices in a dismantling, recycling environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a labor-intensive role or construction environment. Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools. Certification in safety training or first aid. Certification and experience in using forklift.

Assist in the setup and cleanup of job sites, ensuring that all materials and tools are organized and accessible. Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials to support dismantlers and production tasks. Safe use of forklift in moving parts and/or vehicles in the yard or warehouse. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment to prevent accidents and injuries. Operate basic hand tools and power tools under the supervision of experienced workers. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
