Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Material Handler and become a vital part of our warehouse operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and shipment of materials to ensure seamless supply chain processes. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help us maintain a safe, organized, and productive environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and materials handling while contributing to the success of our operations. Duties Safely load and unload shipments using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately utilizing RF scanners and warehouse management systems Operate cranes and other heavy machinery to move large or bulky items within the warehouse Conduct shipping and receiving activities, verifying inventory accuracy and documentation compliance Maintain a clean, organized workspace by properly storing materials and disposing of waste according to OSHA standards Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment to ensure optimal stock levels Support warehouse supervision by adhering to safety protocols and reporting any hazards or mechanical issues promptly Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, and shipping & receiving processes Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and load & unload machinery safely Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting basic equipment issues and performing routine maintenance Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for efficient inventory control Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards related to materials handling and heavy equipment operation Experience with construction or industrial environments is a plus Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks Embark on a rewarding career where your skills in materials handling make a real impact!
