Lenz Sales & Dist., Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented HVAC Technician for a warehouse-based position focused on refrigerant handling, cylinder filling, recovery, inspection, and packaging. You will safely handle refrigerants in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Fill, recover, package, and inspect refrigerant cylinders. Handle refrigerants safely in accordance with EPA and DOT regulations. Operate refrigerant recovery and filling equipment. Verify cylinder weights, labels, and product quality before shipment. Prepare finished goods for shipment while maintaining quality standards. Assist with loading and unloading trucks and freight shipments. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (training available if needed). Perform inventory counts, cycle counts, and maintain inventory accuracy. Complete shipping, inventory, and compliance documentation accurately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Assist with other warehouse and production duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For HVAC Experience:

1-2+ years of experience as an HVAC technician or working within the HVAC industry.

Refrigerant Knowledge:

Experience working with refrigerants, recovery procedures, cylinders, gauges, and HVAC equipment.

EPA Certification:

EPA Section 608 Certification is highly preferred.

Safety Mindset:

Understanding of refrigerant safety, compressed gas handling, and pressure vessel safety.

Mechanical Aptitude:

Comfortable operating equipment and troubleshooting basic mechanical issues.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and stand, bend, and move throughout the workday. Attention to

Ability to accurately weigh refrigerants, inspect cylinders, and complete required documentation.

Team Player:

Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Reliable Transportation:
