JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary:
The Material Handler stages the necessary materials at line side needed to produce approximately 4 hours of finished goods.

The Material Handler must alsoidentifypart shortages in advance, understand and use the Kanban system and communicate and understand thematerialsreplenishment systems.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Control inventory in Manufacturing. Prevent shortages in manufacturing due to lack of parts. Prevent any damages totowmotors or any accidents relating to thetowmotors. Be knowledgeable ofthe inventorylevels. Must be able to evaluate color Must be willing to abide by the companyhand bookin regards tofollowing safety rules and job rotations. Must be willing to report unsafe conditions, reporting unsafe acts,participatingin safety/ergo committees,participatingin safety Kazan events,participatingin blue sky initiatives,participatingin safety audits, andparticipatingin safety observation feedback events. Assistthe plant in achieving safety goals. Participate in communications events such asplant widemeetings, line meetings, department meetings, and training exercises.
