Job Description
Winpak Heat Seal is looking for motivated, safety-focused individuals to join our manufacturing team in Pekin, Illinois! We are hiring for Die Cut Utility/Material Handler and Printing Press Utility positions. These are hands-on manufacturing opportunities for individuals who enjoy working with equipment, keeping production moving, and being part of a team that produces innovative packaging solutions. Available Opportunities Role Starting Wage Die Cut Utility / Material Handler $19.66/hour Printing Press Utility $21.47/hour What You'll Do (depending on the position) Support machine operators and keep production running efficiently. Stage and move raw materials, printed stock, packaging materials, and finished goods. Assist with roll changes, press setup, and installation of production components. Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as required. Package, palletize, label, weigh, and move finished products. Clean and maintain production equipment and work areas. Handle scrap and recycling materials according to plant procedures. Follow job specifications, material codes, and production requirements. Use computer systems and production information to locate and stage materials. Follow all safety, quality, GMP, and food safety requirements. Wear required personal protective equipment and maintain a clean, organized work area. Communicate with operators, supervisors, and team members to keep production moving safely and efficiently. What We're Looking For Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred. Mechanical aptitude and comfort working around production equipment. Ability to follow safety procedures, work instructions, and cleaning procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds . Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks. Ability and willingness to wear required PPE. Must have open availability and be able to work any assigned shift or schedule, including weekends and overtime, based on business needs.
