Job Description

Part-Time Commercial Cleaning Technician - Warehouse/Plant (Rock City, IL) Join our team as a Part-Time Commercial Cleaning Technician at Rock City, IL. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional warehouse and office environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, follows cleaning procedures, and understands the importance of quality and consistency.
Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday & Friday. 8:30 am- 2:30 pm Approximately 6-hour shifts
Job Duties:
Clean offices, break rooms, restrooms, and common areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces Perform sanitation procedures in high-touch areas Empty trash and restock restroom and break room supplies Operate an automatic floor scrubber to maintain warehouse floors Perform basic floor care tasks including mopping and machine cleaning Follow cleaning checklists, safety procedures, and chemical handling guidelines Maintain a safe and organized work environment Report maintenance or safety concerns to management
Qualifications:
Reliable transportation and excellent attendance Previous janitorial, custodial, commercial, or industrial cleaning experience preferred Comfortable working in a warm warehouse/plant environment Able to stand and walk for the duration of a 6-hour shift Able to bend, lift, push, and pull cleaning equipment safely Experience operating floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums, or carpet equipment is preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Takes pride in providing high-quality cleaning results If you are dependable, hardworking, and enjoy creating clean, safe, professional facilities, we encourage you to apply.
Pay:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
