Warehouse Associate Vander Vending - 4.0 Rock Island, IL Job Details Full-time From $15 an hour 2 days ago Benefits Paid time off Life insurance Qualifications Moving Attention to detail Organizational skills Warehouse experience Grocery store experience Full Job Description Warehouse Associate - Vander Vending Vander Vending is looking for a dependable, hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team at our Rock Island location. This position plays an important role in keeping our vending and micro-market operations running smoothly by receiving product, organizing inventory, stocking warehouse locations, and preparing orders for our route team. Responsibilities Receive, unload, and put away incoming product deliveries Stock and organize warehouse inventory Pick and prepare product for vending and micro-market routes Rotate inventory and check expiration dates Keep warehouse shelves, coolers, freezers, and work areas clean and organized Assist with inventory counts and product control Break down boxes and dispose of warehouse waste Help load route vehicles when needed Maintain accurate and orderly product locations Follow company safety and food-handling procedures Assist management with other warehouse duties as needed What We're Looking For Dependable and punctual Able to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Able to repeatedly lift and move boxes weighing up to approximately 50 lbs. Comfortable being on your feet for most of the workday Ability to work in refrigerated and freezer areas when necessary Previous warehouse, stocking, grocery, vending, distribution, or inventory experience is helpful but not required Ideal Candidate The ideal person for this position takes pride in keeping things organized, notices when something is out of place, and understands that the warehouse is an important part of the entire operation. We are looking for someone who comes to work ready to work, communicates well, stays productive, and can be counted on by the rest of the team.
