Primary Responsibilities A warehouse associate is responsible for performing various shipping and receiving duties safely. These duties include receiving, processing, storing and sending inventory according to orders and shipping schedules. This role is responsible loading orders onto a truck or shipping container, organizing stock and labeling product as appropriate. The duties and responsibilities of this position are completed in a freezer environment. Essential Functions Full case order selection. Oversee and manage carrying, sorting, loading and unloading product. Track inventory throughout the warehouse. Inspect product for defects or damage, document and report accordingly. Ensures that product is packed and secured properly. Will move product of various weight capacity and should be familiar with conducting appropriate safety measures within a freezer. Optimize loads to ensure operational efficiency. Preserve a clean and safe working environment. May operate warehouse machines, such as a Forklift. May be required to clean various areas of the warehouse. Other duties and projects as assigned. Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude Good organizational and mechanical skills Familiarity with warehouse technology, such as a scanning tool. Talent Inventory - such as decision making, attention to detail, conceptual thinking
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required. Previous warehouse experience helpful but not required, training will be provided.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical strength required for lifting, moving and transporting materials of various weights. Strong endurance skills needed.
