Shift:
3:00 PM-11:30
PMHourly Rate:
$21.13 an hour + $.65 shift differential A Day in the Life of a
Warehouse Operator:
As a Warehouse Operator, you will operate forklifts, spotter truck and other material handling equipment to support distribution operations, to include: shipping, receiving, raw materials, sanitation, yard management and the Warehouse Management System, to exceed all company and facility goals in our St. Elmo, Illinois facility reporting to the Team Leader. You will need to train and understand the job responsibilities to perform them. You must be familiar and able to monitor and operate the equipment required for the position assigned, and complete any required checks and paperwork. Lifting requirements may include lifting of up to 50 pounds. You will comply with all company policies concerning safety, quality, and productivity. You will work required overtime to meet our needs.
You Will:
Complete a daily pre-shift PIV inspection sheet and report any PIV issues Change the forklift battery and assist others if necessary to ensure safe battery changing procedures are followed Load outbound freight to insure they are loaded in the allotted time, damage free, and complete Unload trucks as assigned Put-Away product from Palletizer(s) on production lines Assist any line supply that is required for Production Receive finished goods and raw materials from plant and vendors damage free Complete proper vehicle inspection on all outbound and inbound loads Follow guidelines and participate in warehouse sanitation Participate in all team meetings, pre-shift meetings and other meetings Exhibit flexibility when needed to help on special projects or in other areas of the facility when needed
