Verifying counts to purchase orders. Sorting stock materials from job materials. Checking shipments for damage, noting appropriate paperwork. Ensure all material is placed in its appropriate areas. Staging of material for installation, shipment, or customer pick up. Assist internal and external customers with pickup and loading. Utilizing company specific software, to maintain accurate inventory. Utilize hand tools, mechanical equipment, and motorized equipment in safe and effective manner. Make deliveries as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Assist with special projects and deliveries as assigned. Essential Functions Warehouse functions (receiving, shipping, delivery) Forklift operation Maintaining paperwork Great customer service Computer software (Microsoft, inventory software, etc) Experience & Other Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent. Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws. Strong time management and customer service skills. Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items throughout the day. Attention to detail. Pre-employment drug screen and background check. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to more than 75 lbs with assistance. Prior Experience driving a box truck in a shipping/receiving/delivery environment is a plus
