Job Overview:
The General Laborer is an essential part of the manufacturing process. Responsibilities include operating machinery, handling materials, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. The ideal candidate brings hands-on skills, mechanical aptitude, and positive attitude to the production team.

•Friday with some Saturdays required Shifts extend by two hours when overtime is required
Responsibilities:
Operate various production machinery and power tools to assemble mattress components. Use hand tools for performing detailed assembly tasks according to technical drawings and specifications. Measure materials accurately using tape measures, calipers, and other precision tools to ensure quality standards are met. Follow safety protocols diligently, including power tool safety, machine operation procedures, and proper handling of heavy materials for lifting and assembly. Maintain an organized workspace by cleaning work areas, managing inventory of supplies, and adhering to safety standards in production. Interpret technical drawings and schematics for fabrication, assembly, or construction tasks related to mattress manufacturing.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with machine operation, fabrication, or manufacturing environments. Familiarity with warehouse machinery and power tools. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily duties. Knowledge of safety standards in production settings including power tool safety, machine operation safety protocols, and warehouse safety procedures. Warehouse experience or construction background is a plus but not required. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on maintaining quality throughout the manufacturing process.
