The material handler is responsible for the picking, delivery and inventory management of parts and materials within an aircraft hangar environment. What you will be responsible for:- Pick materials per picking assignments generated by customer orders.
- Deliver materials to assigned customers via forklift and or motorized cart.
- Assign materials to locations in hangars and associated aircraft.
- Operate forklift to move materials.
- Un-load trucks and count receipts for accuracy Inventory materials.
- Report damage upon receipts.
- Other duties as assigned Requirements What you need to be successful in this role:
- This position requires compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Candidates must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or individual admitted as a refugee or granted asylum).
- High school diploma or general education degree GED required.
- Two years warehouse shipping, receiving or inventory picking experience preferred.
- Must possess computer skills and be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with warehousing and supply chain management programs preferred
