Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations within our ignitor manufacturing facility. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accurate flow of materials, from receiving incoming components to processing outbound shipments. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for maintaining real-time inventory accuracy using the company s ERP system, preparing shipping documentation including Bills of Lading (BOL), and ensuring all warehouse activities comply with company standards, customer requirements, and safety regulations. The ideal candidate brings hands-on warehouse experience, strong system proficiency, and a commitment to operational excellence and workplace safety. There may be some time we work overtime if OT is required, we will inform you a head of time. Once a month will need to support physical inventory count. Key Responsibilities Inbound & Receiving Operations Receive incoming materials, components, and parts from suppliers and carriers Inspect shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage, verifying against purchase orders and packing slips Accurately record all receipts and discrepancies in the ERP system in real time Coordinate with purchasing and quality teams to resolve any receiving issues Inventory Manag`ement & ERP Transactions Perform all inventory transactions (receipts, transfers, adjustments, and shipments) within the ERP system in real time Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure system data reflects physical stock Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies with proper documentation and root cause analysis Execute inventory adjustments with proper authorization and traceability Shipping & Outbound Logistics Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders according to specifications and shipping requirements Generate and process shipping documentation, including packing slips and Bills of Lading (BOL) Ensure compliance with customer-specific shipping portals, 3PL platforms, and documentation standards Verify shipment accuracy before dispatch to prevent errors and delays Inventory Control & Audits Conduct routine cycle counts to ensure ongoing inventory accuracy Assist with periodic physical inventory counts and audits Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance inventory control practices Warehouse Operations & Organization Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment following 5S or similar standards Ensure proper storage, labelling, and handling of materials to prevent damage or loss Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times Material Handling & Equipment Operation Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers, including outdoor receiving operations Transport materials efficiently within the warehouse and production areas Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with production, purchasing, logistics, and quality teams to support operational requirements Communicate effectively regarding material availability, delays, or discrepancies
Qualifications Required:
Minimum3 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment Hands-on experience with ERP systems, including real-time inventory transactions Valid forklift certification/license Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, and warehouse documentation processes Experience performing inventory adjustments with a high level of accuracy and accountability Proficiency in using warehouse systems, computers, and data entry tools Experience operating pallet jacks and material handling equipment Ability to create and manage Bills of Lading (BOL)and work with customer/3PL shipping portals Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsPhysical & Functional Requirements:
Ability to lift and move materials as required Capability to safely operate forklifts to unload materials from trailers into the warehouse Preferred Skills Experience in a manufacturing environment Knowledge of inventory control best practices and warehouse optimization methods Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement processes Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills Work Environment & Physical Demands Warehouse and manufacturing facility setting Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, squatting, and reaching Regular use of machinery and material handling equipmentLifting Requirements:
Frequent lifting of 25-50 lbs. an 8-12-hour shift Occasional lifting of 50-100 lbs often with team assistance This role requires a high level of physical stamina, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced operational environment.
