Jupiter Aluminum is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler to support our packaging operations. Key Responsibilities Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move raw materials and packaging supplies. Transport and organize aluminum coil, boxes, stretch film, shrink wrap, and other materials. Maintain accurate inventory levels and perform regular stock counts. Properly label and store materials according to safety and operational requirements. Stage materials for the packaging department so they are readily available for production. Verify material quality and quantity before use. Perform daily inspections of forklifts and material handling equipment. Report equipment issues and assist with minor adjustments when needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all required safety procedures and wear PPE, including safety shoes, gloves, and hearing protection. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Previous warehouse or material-handling experience preferred. Basic inventory control knowledge is a plus. Forklift experience is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and twisting. Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment. Comfortable working around industrial machinery, noise, and fluctuating temperatures.
