Mechanical Installer - Pay - $20-24/hr, in Fort Wayne, IN 🔧 Role Overview Help install robotic equipment and support general labor tasks inside a distribution center. This is a physical, hands‑on job involving tools, materials, and constant movement. Key Responsibilities Install robotic arms, stations, and fencing Use pallet jacks to move and organize materials Follow diagrams and instructions for assembly Run wiring and assist with commissioning Perform general labor: cleaning, sweeping, carrying materials Work safely and follow direction from supervisors ⭐ Must‑Have Skills Power tool and hand tool experience Industrial or general labor Lift 40-50 lbs consistently Comfortable on concrete floors for full shifts Reliable attendance Able to follow instructions and work as a team Basic blueprint/diagram reading Willing to help across multiple tasks ➕ Nice‑to‑Have Robotics, construction, or warehouse experience Loading, packaging, or cleaning 💡 Strong Candidate Traits Perfect attendance Works independently once trained Mechanical aptitude Good communication Understands basic safety practices 🏗️ Work Environment Large Distribution Center — loud, dusty, busy Work mostly on mezzanine levels Mix of AC and open‑air (can be hot) Very physical: walking, lifting, moving materials
