Primary Purpose:

Feed material to all areas of production, transfer WIP and finished goods throughout the plant, load and unload trailers, handle transportation and warehouse paperwork, receive, inventory and pick and stage material. Operate a forklift and other powered warehouse equipment.

Job Duties/Requirements:

Operate motorized power equipment safely and efficientlyPerform regular sweeps of the production floor to deliver and retrieve materialPrepare, stage, load and unload trailers at the dockAccurately receive product, perform quality checks through weight verification, etcPerform periodic maintenance on equipment in the area (i.e. stretch wrapper, cardboard bailer)Operate manual and motorized pallet jack to move materialsOperate motorized industrial vehicles forklifts, aerial liftsInventory maintenance and cycle countingReceive freight in ERP systemRead and understand carrier documentation (i.e. bills of lading, packing lists, delivery receipts, etc)Use computers and RF scanners to maintain inventory accuracyMaintain 5S and a safe work environmentPerform daily preventative maintenance TPM as requiredPerform other duties as assigned by supervisorAbility to priorities in an ever changing environmentAbility to work from heightsAbility to work independent and as part of a teamAbility to work overtime or any shift as requiredUnderstand and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
