Position Summary:

Loading, unloading, shipping & receiving of pipe, valves, fittings, geotextiles, geogrids, erosion control and drainage products. Other primary duties include maintaining a clean and organized yard.

Essential Functions:

Essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Stock shelves with inventory, pulling and staging orders and loading customer's vehicles.
• Maintaining the yard work and assisting in keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
• Assist in inventory counts and controls.
• Pull, pack and ship orders by small package or LTL carriers.
• Process orders in accounting and shipping software.
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
• Assist in unloading of inbound deliveries.
• Receive and check in inbound shipments.
• Stock warehouse shelves.
• Act as back up delivery driver, as needed.
• Perform other work related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities) High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required. Ability to obtain a Work For Hire / Chauffer's License with a driving record and DOT Medical Card. Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen. Ability to operate a forklift. Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs or more. Possess the ability to load and unload deliveries without assistance. Ability to read and interpret documents such as pick sheets. The skill and ability to speak effectively with customers, listen to their needs, and help lead them to a solution. Must possess proficient ability to communicate in English in oral and written format. Ability to apply discretion and trust with confidential material. Excellent time managing skills with the ability to multi-task prioritize and meet deadlines. Must be able to multitask with minimum amount of supervision under occasionally busy conditions. Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering data. Ability to effectively apply analytical and problem solving skills.
