Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and skilled Laborers to join our team in a vertical turbine pump OEM repair facility. We are seeking someone for our Mellott, Indiana location. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various power and hand tools. This role involves working in the cleaning room, assembly, fabricating products, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Potential for overtime in the future. Current schedule is 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Responsibilities Operate sand blaster, power tools, and hand tools to assemble components and fabricate products. Assist in cleaning, assembly process and ensuring quality standards are met. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery as needed. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized work area within the warehouse or factory setting. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Load and unload materials using forklifts when necessary, adhering to safety guidelines. Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or warehouse environment is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Proficiency in using sand blasters, power tools, hand tools, and other machinery related to assembly and fabrication. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.
