Material Handler

Current CVG employees, please click HERE to login and apply. The Spider (Material Handler) is responsible for ensuring efficient material flow to and from the production floor, maintaining warehouse organization, and managing inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

Material Handling:

Retrieve and deliver materials using WAV and forklifts, ensuring timely support of production needs.

Warehouse Organization:

Apply 5S principles to maintain an orderly environment.

Inventory Management:

Conduct inventory checks, log material usage via PLEX ERP, and return unused materials to proper locations through appropriate channels.

Production Support:

Collaborate with production teams to resolve material shortages and discrepancies.

General Duties:

Follow safety standards and complete tasks as assigned by the Production Supervisor.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in warehouse or material handling roles. Proficient with WAV and forklift operations; certification preferred. Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills. Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks requiring physical exertion.

Working Conditions:

Physically demanding role in a warehouse setting, involving lifting, bending, and operating WAV and forklifts.
