Weekend Shift
  • General Labor (Work 36 Hours and Get Paid for 40) Location
  • Norwich, KS Schedule
  • Friday, Saturday & Sunday; 6:00 AM
  • 6:30 PM Compensation
  • $18/hour plus shift differential Position Summary We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as General Laborers at a well-established and growing foundry in Norwich, KS.
This is an entry-level opportunity with strong potential for advancement and long-term career growth within the foundry industry. This vital role provides labor support throughout the foundry and is critical to the success of the casting and production process. You will have the opportunity to work alongside talented professionals specializing in metallurgy and ironwork while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. Primary Responsibilities Lift castings and other materials weighing 25 pounds or more Accurately complete required paperwork and quality checks Operate multiple machines and heavy equipment Assist with furnace relining Participate in foundry cleanup and housekeeping duties Support production and other departments as needed Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times Perform other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required Positive attitude and strong reliability Desire to learn and grow within the field of ironwork and metallurgy Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Training Provided Forklift training Bobcat training On-the-job foundry and equipment training Benefits Generous medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match and vesting Six paid holidays per year Standard PTO policy Paid training and advancement opportunities Stable, full-time employment with a growing company Work Environment This position works in a foundry and manufacturing environment that may include heat, dust, noise, and heavy industrial equipment. Candidates must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work safely throughout a 12-hour shift.
