PLANT OPERATIONS ASSISTANT

The Plant Operations Assistant, under the direction of the Plant Supervisor, is responsible for operating manufacturing and packaging equipment used in fertilizer production. This includes equipment setup, packaging, performing quality checks on products, meeting production schedules, and completing other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES

Operate conveyor, shrink-wrap and bagging equipment Hanging and sealing bags of product Filling and sealing shaker bottles of product Bag product with the correct blend to the required weight level Place product on pallets according to specifications Assist with maintaining equipment which includes cleaning out production equipment and lines Maintain a clean and safe work area Performs other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent Dependable and punctual, with a commitment to maintaining regular attendance and arriving on time for all scheduled shifts Demonstrated ability to operate various types of machinery and equipment Mechanical and technical skills with exceptional problem-solving abilities Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors Must be able to work independently and in a team environment Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs unassisted

SCHEDULE / PAY

$15+ Per hour (Depending on Experience) Minimum 42.5 hours per week + additional OT as needed Typical schedule will be between 6am & 5pm Mon-Fri Benefits Medical Dental Vision PTO 401k

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
