In this role, you will be an essential part of our warehouse operations, handling a variety of tasks that ensure smooth flow of goods from receiving to shipping. Your energetic approach and attention to safety will contribute to maintaining an efficient, organized, and safe warehouse environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and inventory management while supporting our commitment to excellence in logistics. Responsibilities Load and unload shipments using material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and reach trucks, adhering to safety protocols and OSHA standards. Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software to track stock levels, update records, and ensure accurate inventory control. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision using RF scanners and order picker equipment, ensuring timely order fulfillment. Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and stocking of products in designated areas while following proper lifting techniques. Assist in shipping and receiving processes by inspecting incoming goods, verifying quantities against purchase orders, and organizing outgoing shipments efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by following safety regulations, properly storing materials, and utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE). Support warehouse management in inventory control activities such as cycle counts, stock rotation, and updating inventory records within the warehouse management system. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, cherry pickers, or pallet jacks is highly preferred. Strong understanding of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, and materials handling. Familiarity with inventory management software systems like AS400 or similar platforms. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and measurements. Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards and proper PPE use to maintain a safe working environment. Previous warehouse experience or warehouse supervisor experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
