Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Associate to join our warehouse team in Lawrence, Kansas. This role is responsible for receiving inbound shipments, accurately processing inventory, and maintaining warehouse organization using stand-up forklifts and RF technology. Candidates must have a current forklift certification and relevant experience operating a stand-up lift. Experience with RF guns and warehouse management systems (preferably AS400) is required.

Monday thru
Friday:
7:00am - 3:30pm
Responsibilities:
Safely unload inbound shipments from trailers or containers using a forklift or slipper. Verify and reconcile shipments against bills of lading, purchase orders, and invoices. Identify and report discrepancies in received orders. Use RF guns to process and record inventory transactions. Accurately put away and consolidate inbound shipments into designated storage areas (bulk, selective rack, and pushback rack). Organize and stock items on pallet racks and shelves. Perform FIFO product rotation and follow all product handling procedures. Enter receipt records into the warehouse management system.
Qualifications:
Current forklift certification and experience operating a stand-up forklift in a warehouse environment. Experience using RF guns and a warehouse management system (AS400 preferred). Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as walking, crouching, kneeling, and climbing. Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Reliable team player with effective communication skills. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
