Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Stock Clerk and become a vital part of our efficient distribution operation! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining a smooth flow of goods through various warehouse processes. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers while supporting a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems, shipping and receiving, and inventory control. Responsibilities Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners/pick tickets to ensure accurate stock placement. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, utilizing order pickers and warehouse management systems to meet delivery deadlines. Stock shelves efficiently by organizing products according to warehouse layout standards and maintaining optimal inventory levels. Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits to verify stock accuracy and update records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or AS400 platform. Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring safe handling of goods during transportation activities. Support shipping & receiving operations by verifying shipment details, preparing packing materials, and documenting transactions accurately. Operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and load/unload machinery following safety protocols to prevent accidents or damage. Qualifications Previous warehouse experience is highly preferred; familiarity with warehouse distribution processes is a plus. Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and AS400 software for inventory tracking and order processing. Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one; experience operating reach trucks and pallet jacks is desirable. Strong basic math skills for counting stock, measuring dimensions, and verifying quantities accurately. Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with experience in order fulfillment, picking & packing, and order picking. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards.
