Job Description

SUMMARY The Shipping Fulfillment Clerk is responsible for accurately picking and shipping customer orders. This role ensures customer orders are fulfilled accurately, efficiently, and on time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Accurately pick and pull customer orders from inventory using handheld scanners. Prepare shipments according to customer requirements. Complete and verify shipping paperwork. Inspect outgoing orders for accuracy, quality and completeness before shipment. Safely operate equipment such as aerial lifts, forklifts, and pallet jacks. Maintain organized shipping area. Complete physical inventory cycle counting. Communicate with all departments professionally and effectively. Ability to shift priorities in a productive and solutions-oriented manner. Applies flexibility in day-to-day work with a positive mindset, ensuring continuity and quality of work. Follow workplace safety policies and procedures. Follow IATF16949 and
ISO14001
standards. Contribute to a positive environment. Promote and maintain a clean work environment consistent with 5S practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Aerial and forklift experience preferred. Preferred computer skills with experience in general operation of windows applications.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Must be a self-starter with good communication skills. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables. Experience and proven ability in interacting with people in a positive, motivating way.
