Job Description
Job DescriptionMaterial Handler 3rd Shift - Erlanger, KYPosition PurposeThe Material Handler is responsible for performing all assigned duties necessary to safely handle, manufacture, and prepare quality products for shipment to ADM customers. This position plays a key role in supporting warehouse operations while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesRead, understand, and follow instructions provided on shipping reports and order headers.
Complete required transactions using terminal software and handheld scanners.
Follow ISO 9001, GMP, and HACCP procedures.
Pull orders for shipment and transfer materials between locations.
Perform shipping functions, including product labeling and verifying customer orders prior to shipment.
Load and unload trucks safely and accurately.
Create bills of lading and maintain accurate shipping documentation.
Follow all
Maintain inventory record accuracy of 96% or higher.
Support a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
SupervisionThis position operates under moderate supervision and requires strong attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to work independently.
Work Experience & Education RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED required; degree in a related field preferred.3+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, or transportation preferred.
Experience with barcode scanning systems.
Stand-up forklift experience required.
Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to perform material handling duties in a warehouse environment.
Work EnvironmentWarehouse and office setting.
Must follow all ADM safety, quality, and compliance standards.
