Job Description

The Accessories Material Handler is responsible for receiving, moving/storing, and ultimately shipping accessories for new and after-market Mazak machines.
Scope and Responsibilities:
Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
  • Receives accessory items and places them into locations.
  • Pulls accessory items from locations and packs items to prepare for shipment.
  • Reviews the weight, dimensions, cost, and nature of the items making up an accessory to prepare for shipment.
  • Updates internal Mazak inventory system using the computer.
  • Drives a forklift to move items within the warehouse.
  • Drives a large (non CDL) flatbed truck retrieving or delivering items between Mazak buildings and our remote warehouse.
  • Lifting parts up to 30 pounds in weight.
  • Communicate effectively with different Mazak personnel via phone, email, and in-person.
Education/Certification:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Skills:
  • CNC Machine parts knowledge is a plus.
  • Previous experience with a forklift is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Able to pay close attention to detail.
  • Inventory experience is beneficial.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to use a computer for entering information into database, along with some experience in excel, word, and outlook.
Hours:
7:00am - 3:30pm with some overtime necessary EOE, including disability/vets
