Position Summary:
Nationwide Uniform (by Fechheimer) in Hodgenville, KY, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support order fulfillment and inventory operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals who are self-motivated, safety-focused, and eager to be part of a collaborative team. You'll play a key part in ensuring customer satisfaction by picking, packing, and shipping accurate orders on time.
Responsibilities:
In this role you will be required to... Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently for shipment. Use handheld scanners or warehouse computers to process inventory transactions. Load, move, and stack pallets, lift and handle boxes and materials safely. Sort, count, and inventory incoming and outgoing merchandise. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all safety guidelines and report any concerns to leadership. Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Basic written and verbal communication skills. Ability to follow instructions and complete repetitive tasks consistently. Capacity to work independently or within a team. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus but not required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience using RF handheld scanners is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching. Frequent lifting and carrying of 25-50 lbs.
Use of ladders:
Occasional climbing of ladders up to 8 steps (~6.5 feet high) required for picking or stocking inventory
Positional:
Frequent standing and walking.
Gross Mobility:
Climbing, frequent balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
Sensory:
Rare tasting/smelling. Infrequent use of color vision. Occasional use of far visual acuity, depth perception, and field of vision. Frequent use of near and midrange visual acuity, and visual accommodation.
