Job Description
Prior work experience in receiving/warehouse is preferred but not required.
- Arrange for inventory placement and movement using the forklift, pallet jack, or other methods
- Receive inventory/materials/returns into the warehouse, verify accuracy of counts and check for damages; accurately place inventory in designated location ensuring proper rotation
- Update the Warehouse Supervisor of any issues pertaining to warehouse equipment as they arise so maintenance can be scheduled in a timely manner
- Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition
- Able to work in a fast pace environment
- Perform and document inventory control operations in accordance with the guidelines established through quality control and department policies and procedures
- Help stock bins as needed, particpate in cycle counts, pull work orders and other duties as needed
- Work effectively as part of a team, communicating with other team members to motivate and support them throughout the manufacturing process
