Double Forklift Operator Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Double Forklift Operator with experience on a 10,000 pound or similar heavy-capacity lifts for the Geismar, LA area. In this position you will have an opportunity to contribute to the efficient operation of a warehouse by safely operating forklifts, supporting inventory management, and ensuring timely movements of goods throughout the facility. Pay Rate $16 Schedule and Hours Monday through Thursday 4: 0 0 am to 2 :30 pm (Friday and Saturday OT) Double Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage Move product from staging and storage areas into rail cars or trailers Inventory records and ensure proper stock rotation Other related duties as assigned Double Forklift Operator Qualifications and Requirements Proven experience operating a forklift in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred. Ability to do basic math functions such as adding, subtracting and dividing Ability to follow directions provided in verbal or non-verbal format with strong communication skills Ability and willingness to multitask while being a team player and promote teamwork Available to work any shift and overtime as needed Experience with high-capacity forklifts, such as 10,000-pound models, is needed. Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the exact number and type of product is loaded Ability to pass forklift exam and obtain a valid operator's license.
