Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker, where you will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries and efficient warehouse operations. This energetic position combines the excitement of driving with the hands-on satisfaction of manual handling and material movement. You will be responsible for safely transporting goods using box trucks or personal vehicles, adhering to traffic regulations, and providing excellent customer service. Duties Safely operate box trucks, commercial trucks, or personal vehicles for delivery routes, ensuring compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws Load, unload, and secure goods using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and manual handling techniques Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before and after deliveries to ensure safety standards are met Load and organize inventory within the warehouse, utilizing manual handling practices and warehouse operations procedures Move materials efficiently within the warehouse, including heavy lifting and proper weight handling in accordance with safe lifting practices Deliver packages directly to customers' locations, providing friendly customer service and ensuring accurate delivery documentation Use mobile devices or delivery apps to navigate routes, update delivery statuses, and communicate with team members effectively Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or warehouse worker, with familiarity in warehouse operations and material handling equipment operation Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or box truck operation preferred Ability to handle manual transmission vehicles or manual handling tasks confidently Knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safe lifting practices in a workplace environment Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during deliveries and interactions with clients Physical ability to lift heavy items regularly and perform moving tasks safely Experience using mobile devices for route navigation or communication is a plus This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in active environments, enjoy driving, and take pride in maintaining safety standards while delivering exceptional service.
