Job Title:

Warehouse Worker Job Description The Warehouse Worker supports daily warehouse and production operations by stacking, sorting, and labeling boxes, loading and unloading trucks, organizing products, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work area. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate order picking, timely shipments, and smooth material flow throughout the facility. Responsibilities Stack, sort, and label boxes accurately to support efficient storage and shipping. Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently using appropriate material handling methods. Organize products in the warehouse to ensure easy access, accurate inventory, and smooth workflow. Perform order picking using RF scanners or other scanning devices to fulfill customer orders accurately. Assist with packaging, packing, and filling tasks to prepare products for shipment. Handle materials and inventory, including counting, moving, and staging products as needed. Use scanners and related equipment to track inventory and product movement within the warehouse. Support general labor and production activities as required to meet daily operational goals. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following housekeeping and safety procedures. Follow directions from the production lead and warehouse supervisor, completing other duties as assigned to support overall operations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Metairie, LA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
