Morgan City, LA Pay Rate:
$17.75
  • $20.00 per hour Monday
  • Friday | 8 AM
  • 5 PM The Floor's Fast.
The Team's Tight. The Job? Yours. Material Handler warehouse jobs aren't for the faint of heart (or the lazy!). You're the muscle behind the movement, the reason the shelves stay stocked and the chaos stays in check. If you can lift, shift, and roll with the best of 'em, this gig's got your name all over it. Requirements High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience in a related field) Ability to participate in a rotational on-call schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) Ability to lift and move heavy materials consistently Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic computer skills for warehouse/inventory management systems Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and humidity Ability to work at heights and near water when required Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is a plus Previous forklift or material handling equipment experience Job duties Safely load, unload, move, and store materials within the warehouse Pick, pack, and prepare inventory for shipment with accuracy and timeliness Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies as needed Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests, invoices, and orders Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation and records Select appropriate shipping methods based on item type and delivery requirements Resolve shipping issues such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance in coordination with internal teams Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment Transport materials to various departments using carts, bins, and other equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Benefits Solid Weekly pay that shows up on time — no games Medical, dental, disability, and life insurance coverage Optional 401(k) to help you plan ahead A team that's got your back and a path to move up We Don't Just Place You.
