Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Material Handler and become a vital part of our warehouse operations! In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and shipment of materials within our facility. Your proactive approach will ensure seamless inventory flow, safe handling practices, and timely order fulfillment. Duties Safely load, unload, and transport materials Operate material handling RF scanners, and other warehouse management systems to pick, pack, and ship orders accurately. Manage inventory by organizing stock in designated areas, conducting regular stock counts, and updating records within warehouse management systems. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and OSHA regulations during all handling activities to maintain a safe working environment. Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement of materials for easy access and efficient workflow. Support shipping & receiving operations by verifying shipments, inspecting goods for damage, and maintaining detailed inbound/outbound logs. Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related warehouse operations. Skilled in operating heavy equipment Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse management software to track materials accurately. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols like OSHA standards. Strong understanding of order picking techniques using RF scanners or manual methods to ensure accuracy. Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying quantities during inventory processes. Construction or warehouse supervisor experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations combined with mechanical aptitude ensures a safe work environment at all times.
