Job Description
Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves safely delivering products to customers, managing warehouse operations, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service, driving experience with box trucks, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience and a valid driver's license to contribute to a dynamic logistics operation. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver products to customers across designated routes Load and unload goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques Ensure accurate loading and unloading of shipments, verifying quantities and conditions of items Maintain proper documentation for deliveries, including delivery receipts and route logs Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries and addressing customer inquiries professionally Assist in warehouse organization, inventory management, and stock replenishment as needed Follow all safety protocols during driving, loading, unloading, and warehouse activities Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and report any maintenance issues promptly Adhere to route schedules and optimize delivery routes for efficiency Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or warehouse worker with route driving familiarity Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks with manual transmission preferred Strong knowledge of warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks (certification is a plus) Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to moving goods safely and efficiently Excellent customer service skills with professional communication abilities Familiarity with route planning, load & unload procedures, and safety standards in logistics operations Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail Good organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during daily deliveries and warehouse duties
