Hopkinton, MA 01748
Duration:
6 Months
Shift:
One worker will be 8:00am - 4:30pm and One worker will work 9:00am - 5:30pm
Job Description:
The Material Handler position has a variety of different job functions but not limited to; checking incoming freight, pick and packing of outgoing material, and processing external paperwork for shipment through Various domestic and international carriers and forwarders. Responsible for checking inbound material from outside vendors. and internal shipping points that forward stock material in Boston for shipments to domestic and intermational carriers. Responsible for pulling and packing finished good from the shelves and processing them for shipment. Process domestic and international paperwork for outgoing material Assist with Cycle Count / Area Count process Work with Inventory Control personnel to label and store incoming materials. 1-3 years of experience is ideal.
Skills:
Must be able to lift more than 60 lbs. Must be able to stand on their feet for more than 4 hours straight. Must be able to move Lead crates and operate a pallet jack. Must be able to bend up and down frequently throughout the day. Must have the ability to walk up and down the stairs. Knowledge of Microsoft office (Word / Excel)
