This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and experienced warehouse professional with strong forklift operating skills and a good understanding of day-to-day warehouse operations.

What You Can Expect Salary:

£13.50 per hour

Hours:

Monday to Friday -

Day Shift Contract:

Temporary to Permanent Opportunity to join an established warehouse operation Varied warehouse and forklift duties Ongoing opportunity for the right candidate What You Will Be Doing Safely and efficiently load and unload delivery vehicles and containers Operate Counterbalance and Pivot-Steer forklifts, including Bendi/Flexi trucks, within narrow warehouse aisles Move and position stock safely around the warehouse Complete stock paperwork, including goods-in records, pick sheets and delivery notes Carry out regular stock checks and check physical stock against warehouse records Put away and rotate stock within warehouse racking systems Report stock discrepancies, damaged goods and paperwork issues promptly to supervisors Complete daily safety checks on forklifts, vehicles and warehouse equipment Assist with general warehouse duties as required Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment What We Are Looking For Valid Counterbalance forklift licence, Flexi/Pivot Steer also would be an advantage but not essential Previous experience operating articulated forklifts within a warehouse environment Proven warehouse experience Good attention to detail when handling stock codes, paperwork and records Basic literacy and numeracy skills for accurate record keeping Reliable, organised and safety-conscious approach to work Ability to work effectively as part of a team Good communication skills and a positive attitude ‍ We are currently recruiting on behalf of our Leominster-based client for an experienced FLT / Warehouse Assistant to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
