Warehouse Material Handler Leominster Are you ready to join a dynamic team where your skills in material handling can shine? Our client is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Material Handler for the 2nd shift to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of materials and products. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail, this opportunity is for you! Responsibilities of the Warehouse Material Handler Safely operate powered industrial trucks and other machinery to transport materials and products efficiently. Utilize the warehouse management system (WMS) to accurately record the movement of materials and products. Load and unload trailers, shelves, racks, and pallets safely and efficiently. Conduct accurate inventory of materials and products, including weighing and recording weights on tags and labels. Perform daily safety checks on material handling equipment, including recharging batteries and refueling. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, machines, and equipment. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Requirements of the Warehouse Material Handler Familiarity with warehouse environments and adherence to safety procedures. Physical strength to move and lift heavy materials safely. Proficiency in operating powered industrial trucks and other material handling equipment. Ability to use a handheld computer unit to access the WMS. Competence in basic arithmetic for practical problem-solving. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills with team members and customers.
