Major Responsibilities:
In accordance with hospital policies, procedures and standards, is responsible for the distribution of supplies and equipment: 1. Stock supplies to maintain required inventory levels in all clinical areas, according to departmental protocols. 2. Rotates and reprocesses supplies to assure that stock is current and up-to-date 3. Handles all stat requirements quickly and accurately. 4. Conducts physical inventory of supply locations. 5. Identifies and reports all supply distribution problems to Director. 6. Maintains automated and manual par level re-supply systems. 7. Responsible for ensuring all stock items that are chargeable have appropriate and accurate stickers. 8. Provides back up to Inventory Coordinator. 9. Assists in year end physical inventory 10. Understands how to prioritize responsibilities to ensure completion of duties.Standard Staffing Level Responsibilities:
1. Complies with established departmental policies, procedures and objectives. 2. Attends variety of meetings, conferences, seminars as required or directed. 3. Demonstrates use of Quality Improvement in daily operations. 4. Complies with all health and safety regulations and requirements. 5. Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors. 6. Must be able to complete tasks without supervision. 6. Must be able to complete tasks without supervision. 7. Ability to move wheeled equipment and supplies up to 50 lbs. OR equivalent combination of the abovePreferred:
1. Prior hospital experience 2. 1 year as a distribution aid recommended. III.Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions:
