Job Description
The Warehouse Associate role is responsible for inspecting all incoming and outgoing tradeshow exhibit crates/cases/pallets and flooring to ensure contents are correct and in working order, and performing inspections, computerized inventory control, and other material handling duties as required. What you'll do: Attend project launch meetings as needed to keep up to date with needs of the project and operational requirements Communicate with Project Managers, Client Services, and Production departments to determine project requirements and keep track of changes and updates Operate the forklift to transport crates and exhibit materials in the warehouse Set up and break down exhibits for repairs and shipments Prepare exhibit crate contents prior to shipment to ensure correct and fully functioning components Create accurate paperwork for outbound shipments and inspection/damage reports Inspect incoming shipments to determine if components are missing, damaged and are returned to appropriate storage locations Perform minor repairs and clean exhibit properties and crates as needed based on inspections Ensure compliance with standard work procedures and quality standards Ensure a clean and safe working environment at all times Monitor and respond to emails in a timely manner Other duties as assigned What we'd love to see: High school diploma or equivalent certification required Prior experience in tradeshow production and/or tradeshow exhibits industry preferred Previous experience operating a forklift is preferred Basic computer skills (Email, MS Office) Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required for success in this role Ability to work on ladders and lifts Very high attention to detail is absolutely required Strong communication skills are required Mechanical aptitude Must be able to work both independently and as a member of an extended team Strong working knowledge of safety requirements and safe working practices No agency calls or emails, please!
