Full Job Description Duties and Responsibilities :

Include but are not limited to the following: Safely load and unload products into company trucks and vendor trucks with precision and care. Engage with vendors and drivers with a professional attitude to facilitate smooth departures and arrivals. Accurately pull, pack, and stack pallets of cases in freezers and coolers in a safe manner. Efficiently relocate products using motorized handling equipment while maintaining accurate reporting of daily moves. Scan incoming and outgoing product, perform accurate inventory counts, and ensure proper scanning compliance. Follow and understand verbal instructions in a fast-paced environment, working effectively both independently and within a team. Notify supervisors of any required repairs or adjustments to equipment or the facility. Perform additional tasks as determined by Bertolino Foods, in its sole and absolute discretion, to support overall warehouse operations.

Schedule:

Monday through Thursday 12:00pm- 8:30pm, Friday 8am -4:30pm. Flexibility for overtime; must be available to work overtime as required to meet business needs and deadlines High school diploma or equivalent Ability to work in a cold environment (freezer and refrigerator) Ability to demonstrate fundamental comprehension of warehouse practices Able to lift 75+ lbs. Able to operate high lift, forklift, pallet jack, stand-up jack, etc. Demonstrated time management skills and a strong sense of urgency High attention to detail Ability to work both independently and within a team Two+ years of experience (preferred) The Night Warehouse Loader role combines precise order selection with the essential responsibility of loading and unloading shipments. In this position, you will primarily focus on loading activities, including safely loading and unloading company and vendor trucks, while also supporting order selection as a secondary task. Responsibilities include pulling and packing products using motorized equipment and verifying orders against invoices to ensure accuracy. The balance between loading and selecting will vary each night based on operational needs. This role is critical to maintaining efficient organization and ensuring our high-quality meat products are handled and delivered accurately in compliance with strict food safety standards.
