none Position Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Warehouse Inventory Specialist to join our logistics team. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain 100% inventory accuracy, ensuring that our Warehouse Management System (WMS) aligns perfectly with physical stock. The ideal candidate will oversee receiving, storage, and distribution, perform regular cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and optimize storage space to enhance warehouse efficiency.
Description/ Responsibilities Inventory Accuracy:
Conduct regular cycle counts (daily/weekly/monthly) and annual physical inventories to reconcile physical stock with WMS data.
Discrepancy Investigation:
Research and resolve inventory overages, shortages, and damages, identifying root causes to prevent future occurrences. Receiving & Put away: Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage, verify against packing slips and purchase orders, and enter data into the inventory system.
System Maintenance:
Utilize barcode scanners and WMS/ERP software to track inventory movement, update location codes, and manage stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO).
Stock Management:
Monitor stock levels, manage minimum/maximum levels (reorder points), and identify obsolete or damaged inventory for removal.
Warehouse Organization:
Optimize warehouse layout for efficiency and safety, ensuring proper labeling and organized storage.
Collaboration:
Work closely with procurement, sales, and shipping teams to ensure product availability for order fulfillment.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety guidelines and OSHA standards, including safe operation of material handling equipment. Experience and education •
Experience:
o 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse inventory control, shipping/receiving, or logistics role. o Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or regulated environments o Strong organizational skills •
Technical Skills:
o Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), and Microsoft Office (specifically Excel). •
Equipment Experience:
o Ability to operate or experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners. • Attention to
Detail:
o Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to accuracy. o Ability to work in a fast‑growing or start‑up manufacturing environment •
Problem-Solving:
o Analytical skills to investigate and solve discrepancies. o Occasional interaction with partner factories in France and Netherlands •
Physical Demands:
o Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs frequently and stand/walk for long periods in a warehouse environment. •
Education:
o High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Pay:
$26.00 per hour
