This Material Handler II position is based onsite in Waltham, MA. Job Description This role of the Material Handler II will have an emphasis on the receiving, picking and put away of all inventory. As a level two, this individual applies acquired job skills and company procedures to complete assigned tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders, invoices and work orders. Maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lifts up to 50lbs. and may operate a forklift. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. Prepares kitting packages for assembly production. Cycle count inventory to ensure accuracy. Uses root cause analysis to resolve discrepancies.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 1-3 years working in a stockroom or shipping/receiving environment High School Diploma required Functional knowledge of MRP systems preferred Experience working with Microsoft Office applications preferred
