The division leverages nondestructive testing, remote visual inspection, and analytical instruments to support maintenance, manufacturing, and environmental applications. This Material Handler II position is based onsite in Waltham, MA. Job Description This role of the Material Handler II will have an emphasis on the receiving, picking and put away of all inventory. As a level two, this individual applies acquired job skills and company procedures to complete assigned tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders, invoices and work orders. Maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lifts up to 50lbs. and may operate a forklift. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. Prepares kitting packages for assembly production. Cycle count inventory to ensure accuracy. Uses root cause analysis to resolve discrepancies.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 1-3 years working in a stockroom or shipping/receiving environment High School Diploma required Functional knowledge of MRP systems preferred Experience working with Microsoft Office applications preferred
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask Accomplished "lead-by-example" tactical change agent with strong interpersonal skills Attentiveness to detail is a must Must be able to climb up and down a ladder
Computer Skills:
All Microsoft Applications Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Self-Motivated Pay Range $24.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience plus 5% annual bonus target. •Many Evident positions are located at export-control-restricted work locations or require access to export-controlled information. To be considered for these positions, you must be a U.S. Person. If hired, you must be able to provide valid proof of such status. Additional Information Our job titles may span more than one career level. The pay rate for this role is currently $24.00 - $25.00 per hour. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
