We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Material Handler / Shipping Associate to support daily warehouse, shipping, material handling, and production activities. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while handling materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and keeping work areas clean and organized.
Responsibilities:
Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments safely and efficiently.
Complete and submit all required shipping and receiving paperwork, signatures, and inventory tags.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records for raw materials and preforms.
Communicate inventory information to the office using inventory tags and other documentation.
Keep the preform area and material storage areas clean, organized, and properly maintained.
Produce preforms according to established specifications and preform request tags.
Assist with preparing outgoing shipments, including taping boxes, cutting cardboard, packaging materials, and other shipping tasks as needed.
Support the team with general warehouse and production duties when additional assistance is needed. ...
During slower periods, assist with basic facility and equipment maintenance tasks such as greasing machines, vacuuming cooling fans, and taking trash to the dumpster.
Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Working hours:
7:00 AM - 3:30
PM Skills:
Previous warehouse or material handling experience
Previous shipping and receiving experience
Experience with inventory tracking or warehouse documentation
Manufacturing or production experience
Experience preparing materials for shipment
Familiarity with inventory tags, shipping labels, and related paperwork
Experience using basic hand tools or performing light equipment maintenance
Forklift or material-handling equipment experience
High school diploma or GED
Previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment
Education:
High School Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Ability to load and unload materials safely
Attention to detail and inventory accuracy
Ability to complete shipping, receiving, and inventory paperwork
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
