Overview:

The furniture installer / delivery / builder / warehouse associate will mainly prepare orders, receive office furniture deliveries, deliver furniture, install furniture, move furniture, and build customer orders of office furniture.

Work includes working with others:

building furniture, skilled furniture assembly and installation, moving furniture, delivering furniture, assembling furniture, loading furniture on and off trucks, organizing warehouses.

Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Works with managers to determine orders to be built; then responsible for items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Has experience with

POWER TOOLS.

Has reliable source of transportation and valid license Able to drive a box truck and deliver furniture solo if needed Organizes deliveries, warehouse, stock items, etc. Relocates materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas. Fills custom orders, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock. Assembles customer orders from stock and places on dollies or shelves Opens bales, boxes, crates, and other containers. Takes into account items built and distributed Records materials or items received. Other duties as assigned - Requires knowledge, skills and competence Ability to follow written and verbal assembly directions. Ability to converse, read, and write in English Mechanically inclined and can read and follow instructions Verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills Ability to keep a steady mindset in a fast paced environment Position requires workers to be on their feet all day, lifting and moving heavy boxes and items
