Warehouse Worker Nights-Seasonal Westfield, MA Apply Warehouse Worker Nights-Seasonal Commercial Distributing Position Description Duties:

• Identify correct product and pull from correct lots in warehouse to be loaded onto delivery trucks.
• Create Pallets according to customer invoice specifications request.
• Accurately read products to be pulled from invoices and verify products are pulled correctly from warehouse to be loaded onto delivery trucks.
• Ensure the product is loaded onto the delivery truck correctly and securely. Other Responsibilities
• Adheres to the policies and procedures of, Commercial Distributing Co., Inc.
• Operate wheelers, high speed pallet jacks, and forklift (when certified)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Should be able to follow the instructions of a supervisor, working well alone or as a member of a team. Entails basic mathematics, the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively. Possess a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Education:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must be able to obtain a fork lift certification, if needed.

Physical Demands:

Ability to perform manual labor. Possess the strength and endurance needed to lift and unload cases of beer weighing up to 40 lbs, half barrels or quarter barrels of beer weighing up to 170 lbs, by utilizing a pallet jack, and or wheeler. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, working long hours. Perform repetitive heavy lifting and bending and twisting. Able to work in a dusty environment, tight spaces, and walk on a concrete floor for an extreme amount of time. ________________________________________________________________________ This is a temporary position, working between 30-40 hour per week through the busy summer months.
