Advanced Turf Solutions is growing! We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Wilmington, MA. ATS is a green Industry Distributor offering turf and ornamental fertilizer, chemicals, grass seed, sports turf products, ice melt and accessories to the golf, lawn care, landscape and athletic fields.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting the Facility Manager in the necessary tasks to keep the warehouse running efficiently. This includes loading and unloading trucks, assisting with on-site customers, receiving and stocking product and overall organization of the warehouse.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with shipping and receiving procedures Filling work orders correctly and delivering them to shipping UPS, FedEx, USPS shipping Ensuring warehouse is safe for all employees Opening of bales, crates and other containers Inventory counting Basic housekeeping Making sure everyone has the proper safety-gear Help with walk-in/onsite customers, pulling orders and loading vehicles Keeping the warehouse organized Daily order entry

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & WORKING CONDITIONS

Must be able to read and interpret documents Must be able to read and write daily correspondence Must be able to understand compute common math problems and interpret bar graphs Must be able to interact with customers Must be able to regularly lift 10+ pounds, frequently be able to lift 50+ pounds and occasionally with help be able to lift 100+ pounds Multi-tasking

QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum of 1-3 months of related experience or training Forklift certification preferred but can be completed after hire
